Could you tell me more about Tim Eagan?

To support himself while waiting for the big ship to come in, Tim has worked as a carpenter, woodworker, teacher, attorney, asphalt mixer man, radio humorist, facilitator, bookkeeper, and, at different times, a publisher, editor, or art director for a variety of periodicals. His one bid for public office (District Attorney) ended in Pyrrhic defeat.

Tim spent his undergraduate years at Dartmouth College and went on to study law at Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. It wasn't until after a few years in the legal profession that he decided a return to his youthful passion of cartooning might be a better use of his time.

Besides creating the comic strip work seen here, Tim Eagan has also worked as an editorial cartoonist, produced two comic books (All-Night Comics I & II), created other comic strips not featured on timeagan.com, and generated a flat file full of spot graphics and commercial illustrations. Some of that work can be seen on a hit-and-miss basis on the Grab Bag page of this site.

Does he have any books out?

In addition to book illustrations, his work can be found standing on its own in:

All-Night Comics #1, 1981; All-Night Comics #2, 1984; The Collected Subconscious, An Anthology of Subconscious Comics, 1991; Attitude: The New Subversive Political Cartoonists, edited by Ted Rall, 2002
